The Real Housewives franchise began in 2006, with the premier of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The original series, which starred Vicki Gunvalson, the OG of the OC, and four other Housewives, led to the creation Housewives shows across nine other US cities: New York City; Atlanta; New Jersey; D.C. Beverly Hills Miami Potomac Dallas Salt Lake City. RHODC, RHOD, and RHOSLC have been cancelled, but other Housewives cities are still thriving.

New York premiered in 2008. It starred Bethenny Frankel and Luann De Lesseps. Alex McCord and Ramona singer also appeared. But after several cast changes and a lackluster reception it was cancelled after the 13th Season in September 2021. The showrunners announced on March 23, 2022 that they had decided to completely recast season 14 of the show. This led to an announcement of the new dynamic group of women in October 16, 2023. These women, who have been making their mark on the New York City scene in fashion, real estate, philanthropy, and social influence will share their stories as they juggle their careers, families, and a packed social calendar in this city that never sleeps.
Andy Cohen told The Daily Beast, “It is a completely different show.” “We love the original RHONY. You have to do a real trust fall in order to understand that this is different. This group of women is different. The women are more diverse, with the first Indian woman on the show and the first Puerto Rican. They are also younger, as Cohen said. We haven’t had children in New York for a very long time. I think that they are in a new phase of life, and their stories are different.

She lives in her SoHo loft along with her son, Popeye, and her loyal dog. Jenna is a new member of this group and she surprises herself by letting her guard down. She opens up about her childhood trauma. Jenna learns to embrace her vulnerability in this new chapter and lean more on her friends than ever before.
Lyons replied to The Daily Beast that she never thought she would be a Housewife. “Everything I have experienced in the past five years has made me feel like an alien, as if I were dropped on this planet. What am I doing?
Ubah Hassan

Ubah, a Somalian model and philanthropist who is also an entrepreneur, has a personality that makes her stand out in a crowd. She created her own hot sauce company UBAHHOT to channel her zest for living.
She feels pressured to run her business on her own, without investors, after a boost she received from appearing on Oprah Favorite Things. Her upbringing was difficult and she wanted to be in total control. She hopes that the season 14 will be a relatively civil one. Hassan said to Page Six that she wore a weave and hoped no one would throw a drink at her if they ended up fighting. I don’t like it getting wet or messed up. “If so, I’d have to wear it up.”

Erin was raised in Manhattan. She is a social butterfly, who loves to be in the middle of the action and drama. This cosmopolitan, whose only priorities are her husband Abe and her three children, is the definition overachiever.

Sai is a mom of two and a devoted wife. Her husband David manages the household, so Sai can focus on her digital empire. Sai is a Brooklyn native who’s honest and straight-forward. Her friends call her “as New York” as they can be.

She was raised in a strict, but tight-knit Indian family and struggles to tell her parents about her daily life. Jessel, a natural problem-solver, is constantly seeking solutions. However, her British sense humor can sometimes get lost in translation when she’s surrounded by New York sensibilities.

Brynn’s communications career is currently on hold. She is searching for what she wants in life and trying to heal past traumas. She wants stability and the family she wanted as a kid, but her fear of committing and hectic schedule keep her from achieving it. “Some people are going to hate me. Some people will love me.
