Sneakerheads are often men in their 20s who spend upwards of $1000 on designer shoes. You don’t need to spend seven paychecks on a pair of sneakers to love them. I have dozens in my closet, and rarely spend over $150 per pair. Why? The reason why?

I have found that there are a few brands I can rely on to get high-quality, trendy shoes that are also unique and durable. Nike is the most reliable brand, of course. When it comes to sneakers the store is best known for its all-white Air Force 1s, which you see probably on the streets a few days a week. (I don’t hate, these shoes are good and versatile!) As a shoe enthusiast, I challenge you to look beyond those Air Force 1s and discover all the amazing styles Nike has to provide. You’ll be surprised to discover some unique styles that fit your budget and are tailored to your personal style.
There are some rules that I follow when I am looking for new Nikes. I first ask myself if I have a pair of shoes in that style. If I have a pair of chunky shoes, I might choose a skater or sporty shoe. Then, I look for a shoe that matches my wardrobe or comes in a colourway that I like. My favorite pair of Nikes is a black and brown Air Max because it looks so good with anything. Third, I will check the price. I don’t like to spend more than $125 on a pair of shoes, but if I find a pair that fits my needs, style and budget, I may consider spending a little bit above the limit.
It can be intimidating to walk into a shoe store and see all the experts and style snobs, but I assure you that every shopper has the same goal. All of us are looking for a pair of shoes to make us feel and look good. I’ve rounded up the hottest Nikes available right now to make your shoe shopping easier. There are low Blazers for the office and Air Max 97s with vintage vibes.

Air Force 1s have been popular for many years. Choose a pair of Air Force 1s that isn’t white to stand out. Although they come in different colors, the neutrality of each shade makes them suitable for bright tops or dresses, as well as pants. These shoes will become your new neutral.
