As I began compiling the list, there were only a handful of Barbie brand collabs. I thought this was a strange heading with random merchandise in bright pink with a ‘BARBIE” emblazoned across the side. I was completely wrong. There are a lot of products that I’ve seen, but they’re all cute and fun. They make great gifts for friends or for myself.
Where does this leave me? It’s not a very accurate ranking because they are all good. In fact, they are all my favorites and I own a lot. Did I realize I needed a Barbie brush? It makes me smile, even though I didn’t know that I needed a Barbie toothbrush. Gap’s placement of ‘KEN” across a pink shirt was so brilliant, it sold out immediately. (I missed it.) I am drinking Barbie Kool-Aid in full right now, and I don’t feel ashamed.
